Recovery Manager for Active Directory可帮助您预防因人为失误或软硬件故障造成的系统停机、生产率损失，避免Active Directory （AD）、系统配置或组策略数据受到损坏。 现在您可以自动进行备份，快速比较备份文件和AD的当前值，精确找出变化并立即还原目标数据。

使用在线的颗粒级细化还原功能，您可以在Active Directory不离线的情况下还原整个目录、选定的对象或单个属性。 该解决方案能够节省时间和成本，提高生产率。

功能

  • AD回收站 - 使用基于向导的控制台，引导您完成简化的恢复过程，有效创建图形化Active Directory回收站。无需编写脚本。
  • 在线颗粒级还原 - 无需重启域控制器即可还原目录对象。 消除停机率，不会对登录到网络上的用户产生任何影响。
  • 对比报告 - 使用报告对AD的在线状态与其备份进行比较，突出显示备份后目录数据的变化。 不同的备份之间亦可进行比较。 对比报告可显示被删除或更改的对象（包括属性）。 如果您使用Quest的ChangeAuditor®，那么对比报告还将包括更改人。
  • 全面恢复选择 - 同类软件中绝无仅有的解决方案，可还原AD中的任何对象，包括用户、组、计算机、企业部门（OU）、站点、子网、配置、Exchange存储组和组策略对象（GPO）。
  • 属性级还原 - 还原账户设置、组成员和二进制等个别属性，即使对象本身尚未被删除也能还原。 因此，管理员能够在不影响其他属性的情况下只恢复需要的属性。

  • 灾难恢复保护 - 自动监控Active Directory备份的健康状况，并在备份失败或出错时发送电子邮件提示信息。 Quest推出的Microsoft Operations Manager（MOM）2005和System Center Operations Manager（SCOM）2007管理包能够在相应的监控控制台内提供备份健康状态和提示信息， 以确保您始终都能了解备份的成功创建和在发生灾难时备份得到保护的情况。
  • Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services（AD LDS）备份与恢复 - 备份和在线恢复AD LDS对象。 您可以在不重新启动AD LDS服务或不妨碍其运行的情况下，恢复被删除或被意外修改的AD LDS对象。

Before installing Recovery Manager for Active Directory, ensure your system meets the following minimum hardware and software requirements:

Recommended: 2.0 GHz or faster Pentium or equivalent, x86 or x64 architecture

Memory
(overall RAM)		Minimum: 1 Gb

Recommended: 2 Gb

These figures apply only if the Active Directory domains managed by Recovery Manager for Active Directory include 1 million objects or less.
Increase RAM size by 512 MB for every additional 1 million objects.

Full installation including the prerequisite software:
—1.5 Gb of free disk space
In case all the prerequisite software is already installed:
—200 Mb of free disk space

x64 system
Full installation including the prerequisite software:
—2.7 Gb of free disk space
In case all the prerequisite software is already installed:
—210 Mb of free disk space

Note: Additional storage space is required for a backup repository, at least the size of the backed-up Active Directory database file (Ntds.dit) and the SYSVOL folder plus 40 MB for the transaction log files.

Note: When installed on a Windows XP-, Windows Server 2003-, or Windows Server 2003 R2-based computer, Recovery Manager does not support working with the following:
—Domain controllers or AD LDS (ADAM) hosts running Windows Server 2012
—AD LDS (ADAM) hosts running Windows 8

Targets for backup, restore, compare, and clone operations
You can use Recovery Manager to perform backup, restore, compare, and clone operations on computers running any of the following operating systems (both x86 and x64 platforms are supported):
—Microsoft Windows Server 2012 (including Server Core installation)
—Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 without Service Pack or with Service Pack 1 (including Server Core installation)
—Microsoft Windows Server 2008 with Service Pack 1 or Service Pack 2 (including Server Core installation)
—Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 without Service Pack or with Service Pack 2
—Microsoft Windows Server 2003 without Service Pack or with Service Pack 1 or Service Pack 2
Microsoft .NET FrameworkYour computer must have all of the following versions installed:
—Microsoft .NET Framework version 4.0
